Gratitude Resume

This is my way of giving thanks to the people who have helped me get to where I am today!

Education

Throughout my high school years at Resurrection Christian School, I had several very influential teachers and staff around me. I want to give thanks to Mr. Salehi, Mr. Pence, Mrs. Otteman, Kerry Culver, and Mrs. Radford. You have all done more for me than words can express.

Iowa State also brought me many professors that have altered my worldview. I want to give a shout-out to Dr. B, and Jeff Ames in particular for being the biggest standouts for me in my time at Iowa State.

I’m incredibly grateful for my time at CU and the people who helped shape my journey. Thank you to Curtis Snyder for teaching me so much about athletic communications and for always being a steady mentor, your guidance, support, and patience made all the difference. Thank you to Eric Pelloni for helping me understand the ins and outs of sports broadcasting and for sharing so much insight into video editing and production. And thank you to Carl Knauf for the time, care, and encouragement you put into helping me develop my writing and grow as a journalist. I truly wouldn’t be the storyteller I am becoming without each of you.

Colorado Football Sports Video

I also want to give a huge thank-you to Jack Drag and the entire Colorado Football sports video team. I’m so grateful for the student workers I got to learn from and work alongside. Thank you for helping me grow, for pushing me, and for making every practice and game fun. Being part of this group taught me so much and gave me some of my favorite memories.

Iowa State Basketball Department

This job has brought me one of the best bosses ever. Jon Sedgwick has been one of the biggest positive influences in the sports world. Not only did he allow me to take part in a really cool job, but he was also always encouraging my path in sports media. Whether it was just chatting sports talk, or giving me ideas and connections. He was the one who gave me the idea to create my podcast.

Twelve 11 Films

This internship gave me so much knowledge and truly grew my skills. To that, I have Adam Lowry to thank. He helped me develop my videography eye and took my editing skills closer to a professional level

Managing Boys Basketball

The entire RCS Boys Basketball coaching staff was so kind and encouraging to me in my path for sports media. They helped me demonstrate and deepen my sports knowledge. They never once looked down upon me as a female in the sports world when others on staff did. They helped me early on learn that the support outweighs the haters. I am forever grateful for them helping me set that foundation.
